“I like how Mrs. Pryor keeps the class in order and doesn’t let anything get out of control. She’s strict, but really nice too.”
— 6th Grade Student
Hill School is designed especially for different learners.
We work with each child, transforming obstacles and weaknesses
into strengths and opportunities. For the student, the outcome is not
only improved academic performance, but better self-esteem, greater
confidence and a renewed joy in learning.
Our students face a variety of challenges that often act as
roadblocks in traditional schools:
→ Difficulty in reading words or numbers
→ Problems transferring thoughts to paper
→ Trouble with organization and time management
→ Failure to turn in homework
→ Inability to concentrate in class
→ History of falling behind classmates academically
Hill School of Fort Worth was
selected as an Exemplary
Schools Attuned site by the All
Kinds of Minds Institute. Only 12
other schools in the United
States share this distinction.
Founded in 1973, Hill School
offers academic instruction,
including fine arts and athletics,
in a traditional campus setting.
Hill School is a non-profit
organization, fully accredited by
the Southern Association of
Colleges and Schools.
Hill School teaches students in
grades 2-12 who are of average
to above average intelligence and
who learn differently. Learning
challenges include dyslexia,
dyscalculia, ADD, ADHD, auditory
processing difficulties, and other
learning difference.
